Tennis Tips and Tricks

By timsair

Footwork is system of weights control condition. It is correct body position for strokes and all strokes should grow. To explain the different types of stroke and footwork I am writing as a wing player. Left-handers should simply reverse the feet.

Racket handle is a very important part of stroke, because a faulty handle will ruin the finest serving. It is a natural handle for a top forehand drive. It is inherently weak for the backhand shot, as the only natural shot is a chop stroke.

Acquire forehand handle, hold racket with the edge of the frame to the ground and stands perpendicular, the handle to the body, and "shaking hands" with as if you greet a friend. The handle settled comfortably and naturally in the hand bar in arm, hand and racket is one. The swing brings racket frontal a line with his arm, and whole racket is merely an extension of it.

The backhand shot handle is a quarter circle back of his hand on the handle with the side to the top of the handle and the knuckles directly. The shot travels through the wrist.

This is the best basis for a handle. I am not in favor of learning this handle exactly, but model your natural handle as closely as possible on these lines without sacrificing your own comfort and individuality.

Having once decided racket in hand, the next question is the attitude of the body and to develop stroke.

All tennis strokes, should be made with the body "perpendicular to the grid, with the shoulders lined up parallel to the line of flight of the ball. The weight should always travel forward. It should start from the back human foot to front human foot at the time it hits the ball. Let weight never go away from the line. It is the emphasis that the "pace" of a stroke provides swing that determines the "fastness."

Let me explain the definitions of "fastness" and "Tempo". "Fastness is the actual fastness a ball travels through the air." Pace "is the momentum it comes to the floor. The pace of weight. It's" Sting "ball bearing when it comes to the ground, so the inexperienced or unsuspecting player a shock of power that strokes in no way proven.

Many players have both "fastness" and "Tempo". Some images may carry both.

The order of learning strokes should be:

1. The Drive. Submitted backhand shot and forehand. This is the foundation of all tennis, for you can not build a net attack unless you fight on the ground path to be opened. Nor can a net attack successfully unless you can run, because it is the only successful passing shot.

2. Service.

3. The Volley and Overhead Smash.

4. The Chop or Half Volley and other incidental and ornamental strokes.
